LIST OF MOVIES TO BE WATCHED and FIELDTRIPS
FOR THIRD GRADE 2012-2013
Dear Parents,
Please find a preliminary list of movies that your child will watch during the school year. This list may change in the course of the school year, and you will be notified of any changes that may take place. Furthermore, a reminder will be included in our weekly blog post as to when the movie will be watched. Additional informational videos (for example National Geographic, or Carolina Biological Company) may be watched to reinforce concepts taught in class (i.e. Mayan Unit, Holidays, Fairy Tales and Fables). Please feel free to talk to us about any concerns and/or questions you may have on this matter, or to preview the movies yourself.

In order to make meaningful connections with what is learned at school and the real world, we provide you with a list of possible fieldtrips we may take during the school year. Again, a reminder will be included in our weekly blog post. We may request that you sign an additional permission slip and ask that you chaperone for us.
