Dear Parents,
I am very excited about the start of this new school year.
My name is Ashley Jackson and I will be teaching the 3A class. I am from
Portland, Oregon. My undergraduate studies were in Spanish and Business at
Portland State University in Portland, Oregon. I received my Teaching English
as a Second Language certification from ITTT. I am currently studying for my
Master’s in Education at Grand Canyon University out of Phoenix, Arizona. I
have been working with children from the ages of 2-10 for the past four years
in different educational settings. This is my second year at Discovery School
and I am thrilled to be teaching third grade. I am married and we have an
incredible 2.5 year-old daughter that keeps me on my toes at home. When I am
not in the classroom I enjoy reading, working out, dancing and baking.

Estoy
muy emocionada por el comienzo de este nuevo año escolar. Mi nombre es Ashley
Jackson y soy la maestra de la clase 3A. Soy de Portland, Oregon. Estudié
español y negocios en Portland State University. Recibí mi certificación para
enseñar ingles como segunda lengua por medio de ITTT. Estoy estudiando mi
maestría de educación primaria en Grand Canyon University de Phoenix, Arizona.
He trabajado con niños de 2 a 10 años de edad por los últimos cuatro años en
diferentes áreas de educación. Este es mi segundo año en Discovery School y
estoy muy entusiasmada de poder enseñar tercer grado. Estoy casada y tenemos
una hija increíble de 2 años y medio que me mantiene ocupada en mi hogar.
Cuando no estoy en la escuela me gusta leer, hacer ejercicio, bailar y hornear.
